NetSuite Inventory Reports
NetSuite reports are a powerful tool you can use to assess inventory at all stages of your inventory workflow. You can view reports with inventory costs, stock levels, activity, valuation, revenue generated and profitability. Then, use the information from reports to identify successes and issues within each workflow process, as well as within the workflow as a whole.
We have gathered our favorite inventory based reports for your review. Many companies struggle to handle their inventory assets and movement, and these reports will help you gain a stronger understanding of your inventory and make plans accordingly.
Below you will find some of the reports our experts and customers find the most useful. We have included a brief synopsis and specify if any other NetSuite modules are required in order to access the reports. Finally, you will find a reference to a SuiteAnswers article with more details.
Review Negative Inventory
By allowing inventory to go negative, your NetSuite platform does not block the shipping of items that are physically in your warehouse. Reviewing this report allows you to correct data entry mistakes. Inventory adjustments should be used to correct negative inventory if there are no other open transactions that would increase the inventory (transfer or purchase orders).
Note: Reviewing negative inventory is a period close task.
